Toka Leya (3 Days)

Stay at a riverside camp near Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. You'll have views of the Zambezi River from your room and the choice to explore the area by boat, foot or car. This tour is a perfect starting point for those who have a longer period of travel in Africa.

Arrive Toka Leya

After your arrival at Kasane International Airport, you will be transferred to Toka Leya Camp, where you will stay for the next two nights in a spacious and charming en-suite tent. Accommodation consists of 12 safari-style tents, each en suite with a view of the magnificent Zambezi River. And each tent has indoor and outdoor shower with soaps, shampoo, body lotion, washing powder (for smalls), insect repellent and torches.


Located in the southwest corner of Zambia, the Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River are the central points in an area of spectacular scenic beauty: from the Falls themselves to the broad, picturesque course of the Zambezi River upstream, the rainforest adjacent and the stark jagged gorge downstream, the power and timelessness of nature’s forces are evident throughout.

Wildlife in Mosi-oa-Tunya Park includes herds of elephant and buffalo. There are also giraffe, hippo, crocodile, bushbuck, zebra, and impala. Birds include the African finfoot, Half-collared Kingfisher, Schalow’s Turaco, Rock Pratincole and African Skimmer.

· Visit to the local curio shops , African village and school

· Fishing excursions (standard equipment provided – enough fishing tackle for 3 boats and 9 fishing rods; no set time for this activity; scheduled according to availability, guests’ needs and duration of stay.)

On the third day, after you have packed up, we will drive you from Toka Leya to Kasane Airport.


Toka Leya Camp


Toka Leya Camp is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River in the eastern sector of the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, some 12 kilometers up from the Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The camp is well placed for you to explore the scenic and vibrant region.


· Breakfast: cereals, fruits, eggs/pancakes

· Lunch: buffet or 3 course

· Dinner: 4 course with soup, starter, choice of 2/3 entrees and dessert. Dining is normally in open air, you may enjoy your meal under a tree.


Please note that all efforts will be made to accommodate any special dietary requests and it is our pleasure to prepare Chinese cuisine for our guests.

• Meals not specified in the quote such as lunch and dinner in city hotels;

• Any drinks, park fees, entrance fees, porterage, tours/excursions and transfers not specified in the quote;

• Any scheduled commercial flights and related taxes;

• Cancellation, baggage and medical insurance;

• Staff gratuities;

• Any new Government Taxes, levies, fuel or industry increases which are beyond our control;

• Visa fees where relevant. Should a visa payment be required, this will need to be made in US$ cash. Change is often not provided and thus the exact amounts payable are essential. Travellers Cheques and credit cards are not accepted for this purpose;

• International Airport Departure Taxes (applicable at manned airports only) which is to be paid in US Dollar cash on departure, unless included in your air ticket cost;

• Any items of a personal nature.
